Hostex 4.22.1 Release

We’ve just rolled out version 4.22.1 of the Hostex web platform, featuring new integrations, enhanced account security, and smarter automation tools.

New Features

1. SwitchBot Smart Lock Integration
   You can now connect your SwitchBot smart locks to Hostex for streamlined guest access and automation.

2. Booking Site Preview Support
   Preview your Bookingsite before publishing—see how your listing appears to guests and fine-tune it with confidence.

3. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
   Protect your Hostex account with 2FA. Just click the profile icon in the top-right corner, open My Account, and enable it.

Improvements

1. Task List Optimization
   Improved clarity of the Next Booking field in the task list, helping teams better understand upcoming schedules.

2. Smarter Gap Management Logic
   If a calendar gap is longer than the defined threshold and the minimum stay within the gap is also greater than the threshold, Hostex will now skip making changes to avoid overriding intentional settings. Learn more →
