Hostex 4.25.1 Release: Allow Non-Continuous Airbnb Bookings
The “Allow Non-Continuous Bookings” feature is designed for hosts using Hostex’s multi-inventory management for Airbnb listings. While Airbnb doesn’t natively support multiple units under one listing, Hostex enables this through its Room Type Management. This feature handles bookings where consecutive nights are available across different physical properties within the same room type.

How It Works
When enabled, the system will accept Airbnb bookings for consecutive nights even when inventory is distributed across different properties:
1. Automatic Processing
The system will close the specific dates on all affected properties’ calendars
The following note will be added to blocked dates: “Closed for Non-Continuous Booking”
The reservation will be placed in your Reservation Box for manual allocation
2. Required Manual Actions
After acceptance, you must immediately:
Option A (Recommended): Rearrange other bookings to create continuous availability in one property, then allocate the reservation from the Reservation Box
Option B: Communicate with the guest about potentially staying in different properties for different nights (if acceptable)
Important Notes
This feature is disabled by default; enable it only if you understand the implications
Exclusively applies to Airbnb listings synchronized through Hostex
Requires prompt action after booking acceptance to avoid calendar conflicts
Hostex is not responsible for complications arising from improper management of these bookings
Warning: This is an advanced feature intended for experienced hosts who can actively manage their calendar allocations. Do not enable if you cannot monitor and adjust bookings promptly.
